I'm the one who used to have a blog where I wrote about things in my spare time. The spare time that has now been completely taken over by a crying baby with acid reflux. I'm only able to post right now because my sister is in town and is currently holding the crying baby, so instead of writing thank you cards or returning phone calls from the past three weeks, here I am. I want to just try and catch right back up to where we are now, screaming baby and all, so here comes another baby-filled post. Deal with it.
Where were we? Ah, yes, we had a baby and brought him home. The next week was mostly lots of this:
I guess he takes after his mom. During week two, he deemed us worthy of seeing his pupils.
Nana and Pops (my parents) came for a visit during that second week and it was wonderful having them here. They made all of our meals all week, probably the last well-balanced meals we'll have for awhile. One highlight: pie night.
We actually made it out of the house at one point, as well.
But mostly they just held their grandchild.
Then Grandma and Grandpa (Michael's parents) came and we partied it up every night. Just kidding. We just passed Miles around some more.
And then it was just us three.
Ahh, I remember the days when all he did was sleep instead of cry. Here's a tip: don't get acid reflux if you are only three weeks old. You will hate it.
