Here's a really interesting post: Miles started eating solids. I know, I probably just lost about 80% of you. For those of you that stayed, here's Miles eating carrots for the first time:
If someone would ever steal me a copy of Photoshop, I could have turned the color of the carrots red and make some cracks about how he only eats ketchup to Michael's total dismay, along with some "no mustard only" references (I know, I probably just lost the rest of you). Since I'm a stay at home mom, I felt it was my duty to make his food rather than buy it, so I did the whole shebang: bought the organic carrots, peeled, boiled, and pureed them, and froze them in ice cube trays. At first I was thinking that it was too much work. I can't just buy the jars like everyone else? But then once I finished and was feeding it to him (and he was into it), I felt totally pioneer woman. Me hunt food! Make for baby! Baby eat! Ok, maybe that's more cave woman than pioneer woman.
We'll see how long I can take this whole making food for baby thing until I'm over it and load up on jars and get shunned by all the other stay at home moms.
